Corset Events

Corset related Entertainments and Corset-Events

One of the most popular corset related events, called 'Stammtisch', was arranged formerly on a monthly base at Moerlheim (Germany) at a at public restaurant by Renate and Wolfgang Fuesslein. Here met not only a group of corset wearing enthusiasts, but also 'Newbies' had been very warm welcomed, interested in the theme 'Corset'. Such a 'Stammtisch' and other corset related events are still on the agenda, but the procedures got modified. Now you have need to be registered. The complete procedure to get registered and get a invitation for participation at an event and also the history of events from the past are viewable at the homepage: http://www.Korsett-Event.de

On an irregular base such public events are also offered by Korsett Atelier Kassel. The meetings are arranged by the owner Susanne Braasch. Related to the town Kassel (Germany), the German saying "have a trip to Kassel" "*) becomes in so far and for sure a modernized synonym for corset-enthusiasts and a new significance for a tight-laced waist. To get information on date and place of the next meeting, please view the homepage at: www.korsettatelier.de

* Remark
Historical base for that expression:
Between 1775 and 1783, Wilhelm, Earl of Hessen, sold German soldiers to Great Britain to support the British Army at North-America (Independence War). When young men had been recruited, which was mostly not by free will but by compulsion, they got transported to Kassel. Here, they got trained very hard as merciless soldiers. So the saying 'have a trip to Kassel' has had at this time a very negative impact to all people, and very special to young men. It is to be said that, referring to the effectiveness of the soldiers from Hessen, based on their extreme hard training, the horror of the opposite side (independence soldiers) culminated with the call "Attention, Alarm! The Hessen are attacking!"

One of the most interesting and international remarkable meetings (Stammtisch) is organized by the "European Corset Society" at the 'Bistro Nobis' at Cologne (Germany) in intervals of 4 months. With the large number of participants at such events, the name 'meeting' got insufficient. It should better replaced by term Corset-Party. For more information please view the homepage www.eucosy.de

In the south of Germany Margit and Ruppert arrange corset related events on a regularly base at Munich. Please view information on date and place at their homepage www.Korsett.org

Not only for northern Germany Britta and Dirk Flemmimg are offering to all corset-interested enthusiasts on a 4-month-base the 'Angels' Night' at Hamburg. Also here the term 'Stammtisch' is with its meaning much too small. The term 'Corset-Party' should be much more valid to such an event. For more information please view the homepage www.lgm-club.de.

An other corset related highlight is without any doubts a corset-ball with international character on an irregular base, arranged by different organizations. Announcements will be given occasionally. Additionally, the Dressing-for-Pleasure-Party at the castle 'Burg Hohenstein', arranged by Thomas and Lacie, is also to be recommended very warm.
